TrackYourInvestment is an iOS app, live on the App Store, for tracking a whole investment portfolio in one place: stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, FX, gold, and crypto, valued live with daily profit and loss.
It covers Borsa Istanbul, the full S&P 500, the London Stock Exchange, Canada, Latin America, the Gulf, and Oceania. It handles stock splits, separates realized from unrealized profit, tracks time deposits, and can import holdings from pasted text or a screenshot. A home-screen widget and a shareable performance card round it out, in 20 languages.
The app is built with Expo and React Native. The backend is a Hono API on Bun with Drizzle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Better Auth, plus scheduled workers that keep market data current, and a Next.js web and admin app. Subscriptions run through RevenueCat, with Sentry and PostHog for errors and analytics.
AI with cost controls
AI-written portfolio summaries run through a dedicated layer: a guardrail in front of the provider call, per-user budget, quota, and abuse checks, prompt limits, and an eval harness with fixtures, so prompt changes are measured rather than guessed.

Challenges
